TKB Education Initiatives is a small, independent family business. The creation of our company culminates from twenty-five years experience of working with children of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. Tracey currently teaches in a Nottingham City primary school and she has also been involved in the ‘Early Reading Development Pilot’ project that informed Jim Rose’s report into early reading development. Kimberley is new to teaching and is completing a BA degree in Early Childhood Studies. Together we make a dynamic mother and daughter team!

Our aim is to challenge those barriers to learning that have existed for many years so as to help children become independent readers and writers. We aim to provide innovative, inspiring and affordable resources that engage children in the learning process.

We are dedicated to providing educational practitioners everywhere with literacy materials and resources that actually work, save teacher’s time and to help make teaching and learning fun!
